You may be eligible to apply for a work permit under one of the many Labour Market Impact Assessment exempt ( LMIA-exempt) International Mobility Program exemption or one of the Free Trade Agreement exemption codes. If eligible, you will be able to apply for a work permit without having to complete an LMIA application. Each exemption has different eligibility requirements; make sure you meet all of the requirements of the exemption code you wish to pursue!
