A Humanitarian and Compassionate (H & C) application is a case-based application which focuses on an applicant’s personal situation and circumstances.
Approvals are discretionary. This application requires strong documentation and evidence in order to strongly outline your reasons for becoming a Permanent Resident of Canada.
Some successful examples include where an applicant’s only family is in Canada or where the best interests of a child would be served by having the applicant and the child live together in Canada.
