Express Entry
The Express Entry system is an economic immigration program for skilled and qualified workers to obtain Permanent Residency in Canada.
This points-based system ranks applicants by their points, with applicants who meet the threshold getting invitations to apply under the program. An applicant’s points are determined through various economic factors, such as: age, education level, skilled work experience, and proficiency in one (or both) of Canada’s official languages; English and French.
Additional points are possible with a qualifying Canadian job offer or ongoing Canadian employment. The Express Entry program has one of the most efficient processing times, with most permanent resident applications being processed in approximately 6 months.
